Practice Focus
Ms. Lincoln serves as Of Counsel to Manning Sossamon. She works to advise our clients on contractual, commercial, and corporate issues. Ms. Lincoln’s focus is in the negotiation and execution of contractual arrangements including leases, employment agreements, and intellectual property issues across an array of industries including telecommunications, biotechnology, forestry, and apparel. Ms. Lincoln also serves as a mediator in the District of Columbia’s Multi-Door Dispute Resolution Program.
Prior to joining Manning Sossamon, Ms. Lincoln maintained a solo practice where she provided corporate counseling to a large association with revenues of almost $200 million and to emerging businesses. Ms. Lincoln has also served an associate at a communications firm where she advised clients on legislative, regulatory, and trade issues including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), as well a lobbyist working on redevelopment issues for trade associations and non-profit organizations. She began her legal career at Morrison & Foerster LLP counseling communications and new media clients on a range of complex regulatory compliance and licensing issues. Ms. Lincoln was law clerk for Judge Warren King on the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.
Representative Matters
- Represented a biotechnology company with over $1 billion in revenues in multimillion dollar outsourcing agreement.
- Counseled small business clients on organization of corporate structures and contractual arrangements.
- Drafted and negotiated well over one hundred operational transactions for large corporations and small businesses, spanning areas of goods, services, leases, and employment agreements.
